No, there is no fee associated with assisting you finding a new role.

I have used agencies before and they never got back to me, why are you different?
Frontline Retail consultants operate with Honesty, Integrity and Respect in all our dealings, we treat people as we would want to be treated ourselves. A testament to our candidate care is the amount of referrals we get from candidates we have worked with in the past.

I resigned from my role and my employer made me a counter offer with much more money, what do I do?
Always think about why you wanted to leave in the first instance. If you had outgrown the role, the offer of more money will only keep you in the role for another few months. While you may get a few extra dollars, the role content will remain the same.

Will my resume ever be sent to companies without my consent?
Never, we would always seek your permission before sending your resume to a client.

What are the advantages of applying for jobs through a recruitment agency?
We can negotiate on your behalf, keep you informed of any new jobs on the market, and provide advice and support through the whole process. We also have our own Job search board that you can check regularly.

How will I be kept informed of suitable job opportunities?
When you register with Frontline Retail, your consultant will spend time establishing your key priorities and the type of role you are looking for. They will discuss suitable open vacancies with you at this time and thereafter call you with additional opportunities. As we will be working actively on your behalf, it is important that you stay in regular contact to inform us if your circumstances, availability, or priorities have changed.

How can I write an effective resume?
A resume is simply a tool to help you secure an interview. It is your chance to make the right impression with a prospective employer and opens the door to an interview
• Presentation is vital. Use only one typeface, use upper and lower case letters, make sure your headings are consistent and keep to your margins
• Start with your personal details followed by a brief summary of your strengths and qualities. Ideally, this should be less than 50 words
• List your qualifications, education and training concisely
• Detail your career chronologically, starting with your present/most recent job
• Give a brief description of each job only when it is relevent – include responsibilities and achievements
• Do not over elaborate. Your resume should be a maximum of three pages in total

How can I prepare for an interview?
The key to success at an interview is preparation.
• Prepare yourself – Identify your skills and abilities, strengths, achievements and any areas for improvement. Think up the phrases and descriptions that ‘sell you’.
• Prepare yourself - practice
• Prepare your questions – you are sure to get the chance to ask questions yourself, so prepare some in advance. Asking questions will make you sound interested in the role. And remember, your Frontline Retail consultant will help you prepare for the interview.
